With a dedicated technical team, TH Plastics Ltd has rapidly become a market leader in ancillary products and recycling solutions in the UK. Our growth has necessitated the strengthening of our sales presence across the UK to better support our exclusive distribution partners and growing customer base. Ben Morris and Colum Makin have been appointed to our sales team as the latest recruits.
In Ben’s previous employment, he was a senior production manager for a British luxury luggage manufacturer. Prior to this, he established himself as a well-known professional in the plastics industry as a technical supervisor at an injection moulding facility, where he planned production and managed the mould shop. 14 years in this sector has helped Ben to acquire a wealth of knowledge that will be invaluable in thein the ancillary sector. Ben has developed an impressive level of technical knowledge for a wide range of applications during his time in the industry. Having a thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements and the ability to provide practical solutions will certainly be valuable to our growing customer base. Ben is ready to get stuck into the role and is excited about the opportunity to re-engage with the industry. “Given my experience in injection moulding, this is an excellent opportunity for me to build my network, not only within injection moulding, but also within other sectors of plastics manufacturing”. Ben stated “I am looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and to meeting new people, and I intend to utilise my knowledge and skillset to provide efficient systems and to dominate the Southeast region”. Ben will be taking over the Southeast of England territory.
Colum has already proved to be an invaluable addition to the team and will assume the role of Area Sales Manager for the Southwest of England, inclusive of Wales. While Colum will be joining the Plastics Industry for the first time, he has worked closely with many moulding facilities to manufacture some of the world’s most popular hair care brushes. It is clear that he is extremely eager and committed to getting a hold of the role and expanding his knowledge as soon as possible. With his previous experience as a Managing Director of a company that transformed commercial spaces, we are confident that he will be able to apply this knowledge to the transformation of plastics production facilities. When asked what are his future plans at TH Plastics Colum said “I am really excited to get out there are start engaging with the current customer base as well as build to this. I look forward to learning and developing my knowledge to become a key player within the Ancillary providers in the UK.”
