It was an exciting time at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2023! Our team had the opportunity to attend the show and get a front-row seat to what the industry has to offer. The exhibition is one of the biggest shows for mainland Europe and accommodates some of the biggest names in plastics recycling year on year. Held in Amsterdam, the PRSE attracted a record number of attendees and exhibitors from 80 different countries.
Unique in Europe, PRSE brings together exhibitors, visitors and Plastics Recycling Awards Europe finalists representing the whole value chain of the plastics industry including recyclers, machine producers, raw material producers, converters, waste management companies, and increasingly, brand owners, retailers and investors. PRSE facilitates collaborative progress towards the circular use of plastics by showcasing innovation, sharing best practice, and bringing partners together to network.
We were proud to attend the event with our partners Moretto and Altero Recycling Machinery, who were exhibiting at the event amongst the biggest names in plastics recycling. Our UK Sales and Marketing Manager, Jonathan Pankethman, was on hand to assist with welcoming current and future customers to the stands and help them to understand equipment and latest product launches.
It was at the show our partners at Altero Recycling Machinery launched their NEW Compact Pelletiser. It is a super compact solution for post-industrial flake recovery. The new line is designed to help customers recover 100% of rigid plastic scrap back into production, minimising raw material consumption and improving efficiency.
Additionally, Moretto showcased their Graviko loss-in-weight feeder. The accurate dosing system can be used in a variety of configurations with up to five components. Navigator 9000 is the Graviko control for the fully automatic management of production parameters, including: cooling ring control, gauge, extruder haul-off and extruder speed.
UK Sales and Marketing Manager, Jonathan commented ‘’The Plastic Recycling Show Europe has grown significantly in recent years, with more companies exhibiting product offerings to the recycling market. It was great to support Altero and Moretto as TH Plastics venture further into the recycling sector’’.
Whilst there, we were able to learn about the latest advancements in plastics recycling technology and had the opportunity to talk to some of the top players in the industry and get their insights on the current state of the industry, and what the future holds. The show featured a variety of presentations, workshops, and seminars on topics ranging from plastics recycling theory to practical solutions for businesses. We also had the chance to network with leading industry experts and make some key contacts.
Overall, the event was a great success for our team, and we are already looking forward to attending next year’s show. We are confident that the insights we gained from attending this show will help us to continue to make a positive impact on the future of plastics recycling.
We would like to thank all those who came to greet us and learn the latest news about our products.
