Due to our continued success and rapid customer growth, TH Plastics are delighted to announce that Dave Tillen has joined us as our latest recruit. Dave is now the Area Sales Manager for Southern England. This is his first role within the Plastics Industry, having previously worked within the highly competitive construction industry, developing a strong sales and business development background.
Having achieved both a Degree (BSc) and Masters (MSc) in Psychology from Oxford, he is no stranger to hard work and challenges, he has a strong work ethic and is looking forward to the technical challenges that this role will bring.
After completing his Masters, Dave took a year out to travel Australia, but soon found himself drawn to working in direct energy sales. He began thriving in the highly competitive industry and setting numerous sales records along the way. On returning to the UK Dave gained a role of Southern Regional Sales Manager for a construction supply company. With no prior industry experience, Dave developed the Southern England Territory from scratch. Putting in the miles, learning very quickly and listening to customers, he developed the business and established a strong company presence in London, and took the company into supplying hire company businesses, an area he was told at the outset “we can’t get into”. We are confident that his drive and experiences will no doubt help us develop our presence down south and solidify our relationships with existing partners.

During his time so far he has undertook a supplier training visit to Italy, Dave said he was “blown away” by the supplier facilities and on-going projects with TH Plastics. “The innovation involved in these systems is amazing! It’s clear TH Plastics only associated themselves with the highest quality suppliers in Campetella and Moretto”.
When asked about his time at TH Plastics so far Dave Expressed “Everyone in the company really cares about their customers and the technical training I have been given has been second to none. It’s clear I have the tools here to succeed and I can’t wait to start working with new and existing partners and seeing how much I can grow my area”.
Coming from an industry dominated by matured suppliers, safety regulations, and site restrictions, Dave knows too well the importance of getting a job done professionally whilst maintaining the upmost levels of customer service and communication. Therefore, we know he will be more than comfortable in the plastics industry.
