At this year’s Fakuma expo, Moretto will be unveiling its Factory of the Future concept, supported by UK ancillary solutions provider TH Plastics.
The innovative company will be exhibiting a range of products that satisfies the entire plastics preparation process, from storage in silos to the injection moulding machine in a 230sqm booth, located in Hall B3 Stand 3208.
Moretto’s “Efficiency 4.0” model sets the benchmark for a plant consisting of advanced machinery and solutions, connected and integrated with each other by a supervision system that guarantees total control of the process.
Within the 4.0 factory model, machines can be remotely managed, they are able to supply and exchange information, to self-program and to provide frequent reports on production. The data obtained is used to modify the process parameters to monitor the performance of the machines, therefore optimising the efficiency of the entire plant.
At this year’s Fakuma exhibition, running 16-20 October in the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre in Germany, Moretto will be exhibiting technologies and machines developed to guarantee adequate levels of dehumidification, granulation, conveying, cooling, temperature controllers and dosage of the polymer.
The machinery will be controlled by the Mowis 3 integrated self-configurable supervision system with intuitive object programming.
Lee Thomas, Managing Director of TH Plastics, the sole UK distributor of Moretto products, said: “Fakuma is always a key date in the diary within the plastics industry. We are proud to be supporting Moretto on their stand once again this year.
“Moretto has been researching, developing and producing automations for plastics processing for almost 40 years and as a result of continuous investment in technological innovation, they create the most efficient and low energy consumption machines.”
Machinery exhibited during the event will include Moretto’s drying solutions including the X Comb mini dryers, X Dry Air series of compact dryers, and revolutionary Eureka Plus drying system – which combines four of Moretto’s patented technologies.
Knowledgeable staff from both Moretto and Glossop-based TH Plastics will be on hand to talk to customers about the Moisture Meter Manager drying system, DPK compact loss-in-weight dosing unit, and three new types of maintenance hoppers – the TM hoppers, TMC hoppers and Krystal maintenance hoppers (TMK).
Moretto will also be exhibiting the Dolphin distribution manifolds, RC Mini chillers, RCV X Cooler and Te-Ko temperature controllers.
Moretto and TH Plastics will be exhibiting in Hall B3 Stand 3208.
