Max Rawling has gained a number of new skills since joining award-winning TH Plastics as an apprentice.
Max, 18, joined the market leading ancillary solutions provider in April last year as an apprentice sales assistant apprentice and is now studying for his Level 3 Sales NVQ.
In the last 18 months, Max has grown in confidence as developed skills in both sales and marketing.
The Tintwistle teenager has already progressed to a Sales Engineer Apprentice role, which involves collating technical information about processes to assist with quotes, while studying for his qualification.
The enthusiastic employee enjoys his apprenticeship at the Glossop-based company and believes there is plenty of progression within the company.
He said: “I have become a lot more confident speaking to customers and have gained lots of new skills. It has been a great learning experience for me.
“I am responsible for helping to keep the customers up-to-date at every part of the process. “It’s like a family here and your efforts get recognised by others.”
Recently Max has been helping more on the company’s marketing front, offering to help with TH Plastics’ social media channels.
Max is continuing to learn about the vast array of equipment offered by TH Plastics through their manufacturer Moretto.
He said: “New things are always coming out and there’s always something to learn about.”
