David Tillen (Area Sales Manager)

He may be the newest member of the TH Plastics team, but you certainly wouldn’t think it. Dave settled in very quickly to life in the plastics industry mostly down to his work ethic, capacity to learn and natural way with people.   

Arriving with no industry experience, Dave grasped the TH Plastics culture very quickly and his drive has already been rewarded with results within weeks of being out on the road.

When asked about how he has found his first few months at TH Plastics, Dave said…

“I have really enjoyed it! The team and technical support are great, the technology involved is amazing and I go to bed dreaming of robots…”

“I have been very surprised how warming people in the industry are in general. Everybody seems to know each other, people are very honest which I really admire. From what I see, the industry shows know signs of stopping.  Unlike previous roles, I have noticed that as longs as the benefits are justified, companies have little fear in investing in new technology.


From a professional point of a view, I take great pride in my work and have never been one to cut corners. I pride myself on the relationships I make and focus just as much on customer care after a project, as I do before it starts. I am a quick learner and someone you can reach at any time of the week when you need me.”

What’s Dave like away from work?

“Away from work, I love my sport and I love my wine. Having played academy football in my youth, nowadays you are more likely to find me on the rugby pitch or on the golf course. Away from exercise, I am a keen traveller, I watch the ice hockey whenever I can and will never turn down going for a curry”.
