Cue the drumroll for our new team member, Jonathan

 

TH Plastics are growing year on year in the ancillary equipment and automation sectors of the plastics industry. To keep up with this growth, we are acquiring like minded individuals to be a part of our future and help us reach our potential as a business.

We are pleased to announce that the latest person to come on board is Jonathan Pankethman, who joins our sales team as an Area Sales Manager for the West Midlands & South West. Experiencing great success in his sales career so far, Jonathan has sold around the world, and we are delighted to have him on board here at TH Plastics.

Jonathan, 31, is from Sheffield. His first-class honours degree in Business and IT helped him get on to a local graduate scheme which resulted in him running a sales territory in Canada, where he spent 2 successful years before moving back to the UK. He then had a spell in London, followed by returning to Sheffield to work for a local company as their International Sales Manager. Such a varied sales background has helped Jonathan to develop his skills at a rapid rate, and is also a bonus for us at TH Plastics to have this experience as part of our sales team.

Selling into 35 different countries, Jonathan is no stranger to being on the road, so covering the West Midlands and South West will be a little closer to home. When asked how his start at TH Plastics has been, he said “It’s been great, from the welcome I’ve had, to the dedicated training, to the reception by our customers, it has been a dream”.

This is Jonathan’s first time in the plastics industry, and while that may mean a steep learning curve at first, we are confident he has what it takes to become an industry expert, and someone who our partners can rely upon. Having just returned from the K Show in Dusseldorf, Jonathan was amazed by the size of the plastics industry, and what it had to offer. “I think we could have spent a week there and still not seen everything, it was crazy. So many people in one City at the same time, it makes you realise how huge this industry is”.

Jonathan is relishing the challenge of being part of such a fast paced industry, and his experience and understanding in helping companies save time, labour and energy on projects means he will immediately be comfortable with the benefits of representing the Moretto and Campetella brands. We are excited for Jonathan to be part of our growth and continued success, and he looks forward to meeting new and existing partners in the coming months.
